There’s definitely romance in the Broken View Estate air! What fun it is to share in the delights of a marriage proposal, and we can proudly lay claim to the fact that  Broken View Estate has been the venue for close to a dozen proposals,  several weddings and countless anniversaries over the past twelve months.

We were able to get a really special package together for Guy for his proposal to Lisa.

This included a helicopter pick up from our island by Simon from Slattery Helicopters, who flew  the nervous couple over the sights of the Pokolbin Valley before landing for a private wine tasting and proposal in the most romantic of locations. After a bottle of champagne, there was a limo drive back to Broken View Estate by Colin Cramp of Prestige Limousines

………….   She said”Yes” of course!!

It’s always a great point of discussion and  debate over an afternoon wine!

It’s been referred to as the ‘Statue of Liberty’ , a ‘pointer to the Milky Way’  and Ben’s Escape…..

Local folklore has it that the tree was hit by lightening, creating a momentous explosion, with branches and splinters of wood being catapulted over 100 metres in all directions.

It proves to be a great vantage point to enjoy the glorious sunsets over the Brokenback Ranges and the vivid birdlife on the extensive dam and picturesque countryside beyond.
